Making art together
My sweetie and I have been talking about making art together for a while now. When we try though it usually ends up me drawing/painting/whatever and them staring at their sketch book.
Tonight however we made art together.
I was bemoaning the fact that I have a hard time coming up with ideas or characters to draw. Which is why I’ve been doing the super heroes and such.
We chatted about the type of comic I could illustrate with the funny little chibis I’ve been drawing. That got us to talking about an old Pathfinder character.
The next thing I know, they are writing character notes and I’m drawing character concept sketches. Then I have a page 1 script and were tweaking axe designs together. Tonight was a blast.
Even if nothing ever comes of it, doing it is going to be a lot of fun.
Also, there is possibly nothing more fun than drawing dead goblins.
